Ardea is a long established independent photographic library that specialises in wildlife, pet and environment images, and has been in business for over 40 years. We have over 250,000 high-quality rights protected images on our files. Our experienced and knowledgeable team of researchers respond quickly and helpfully to client requests, and have access to our comprehensive and in-depth collection of consistently high-quality images.

Ardea represents the work of more than 150 photographers world-wide who regularly supply Ardea with new material, continually expanding and updating our portfolio of images.

The majority of our photographers are specialists in their fields of natural history with a thorough understanding of their subject. Combined with a high level of in-house knowledge, this enables our researchers to provide informed and appropriate selections.
